“Blog Maverick” Mark Cuban, im Nebenberuf Teambesitzer der Dallas Mavericks hat das Thema seit längerem eingekreist (siehe “NBA and Olympics“) und nun abgedrückt:
In “What business is the NBA in?” stellt er die Blaupause für den Sportkommerz vor. US-Profisport ist kein “Sport” mehr, sondern Entertainment-Business. Die Konkurrenz sind Kinos, Fernsehen, Bücher (alter Kultur-Optimist!) und Restaurants.
